Terms of Service

You need an account to use the service. Keep your sign-in details to yourself; you are responsible for what happens under your account. One account is for one person — accounts are not shared or transferred.

You must be old enough to enter a contract where you live.

A free account can create a Career Profile, upload documents, and create a shareable career brief. Running searches, viewing role dossiers and generating tailored application materials require an active Search Pass.

A Search Pass is a one-time purchase for a fixed window. The 30-Day Search Pass is $39 for 30 days and the 90-Day Search Pass is $79 for 90 days. It is not a subscription. Nothing renews and you are never charged again automatically. When the window ends, access to the paid features stops and your account reverts to the free tier — your documents, profile and history remain.

Buying another pass while one is active adds its days to the end of your current window. Complimentary access codes, where issued, grant a single fixed window on the same terms.

Prices are in US dollars and shown exclusive of any tax that may apply to you.

Because every search runs live employer research and AI analysis at real cost, a pass allows a limited number of full searches per day. The current limit is shown on your account page. We may adjust it to keep the service sustainable, and we will not reduce it in a way that makes an active pass unusable.

RoleSignal analyses public job postings against the material you provide and produces fit assessments, drafts and suggestions. It is decision support, not advice and not a guarantee.

We do not promise interviews, offers or employment. We do not promise that a posting is still open, that a listed salary is accurate, or that a person identified through public sources is currently in that role. AI-generated text can contain mistakes — review everything before you send it. Compensation figures are estimates, not offers.

You keep ownership of everything you upload and everything the service generates for you. You grant us permission to process your material solely to operate the service for you, as described in the privacy policy. You confirm you have the right to upload what you upload.

Do not upload material that is not yours to share, misrepresent someone else, scrape or resell the output, attempt to bypass access limits or payment, interfere with the service, or use it to harass anyone. Automated or bulk account creation is not permitted.

We may suspend or close an account that breaks these terms, or where payment is reversed or disputed. You can stop using the service at any time and can ask us to delete your account.

The service is provided as is. To the extent the law allows, our total liability to you for any claim is limited to what you paid us in the twelve months before the claim, and we are not liable for lost opportunities, lost earnings or indirect losses.

We may update these terms. Material changes will be reflected in the date at the top of this page, and an active pass is always honoured on the terms in place when you bought it.
